Breaking the cycle

Are you overwhelmed at times? Is it a challenge to get a break? Do you experience anxiety and stress?

From time to time we can have experiences that drag our mood down, whether it is time at  work or school or perhaps our relationships with others.

This is why  taking time out for yourself can be so important, especially in a stressful environment.

Even completing small activities each day can be beneficial to our mental wellbeing. For example,

  • Getting healthy: eating well, sleeping well, and staying active
  • Continue learning: keep trying to challenge your mind and find new things to explore
  • Showing kindness: showing gratitude, giving back and bringing joy to other people’s lives
  • Connecting more: developing relationships, caring for and staying connected with each other
  • Taking notice: living in the present, being mindful and experiencing the world around you
  • Embracing nature: stepping outside, connecting with the natural world and looking after the environment

A healthy mental outlook can lift your mood, help you persevere in difficult situations and enables you get more out of life!

Time for some “me” time  😊
